Himalayan Mountain Moon Indigo Silk Scarf

Our hometown Lijiang lies at 24,000 ft, just below the Himalayan plateau. This image is inspired by the mountains with their clear dry air, broad sky and peaceful night view of the stars and moon.  It is made with Shibori hand-stitched and hand-dyed indigo on light silk. The silk is a fine natural tight thread; light, soft and strong.  The hand-stitched imagery means every scarf is unique.
