A One-of-a-Kind Kimono Jacket 

 Experience the artistry of our kimono jacket, meticulously handcrafted by Miao artisans from a remote village in Southwest China. This stunning piece showcases a hand-embroidered back on rich velvet fabric, complemented by a front panel made using traditional batik techniques. The blue and white patterns are all hand-drawn with beeswax on cotton, highlighting the skill of this ancient craft.

 

The jacket is reversible, with the interior featuring cotton fabric dyed with natural indigo plants sourced from our village. Each jacket is a unique, blending vintage and new fabrics into a playful patchwork of collected embroidery and hand-drawn batik patterns. Slight signs of aging on vintage pieces add character and history to the garment.

 

For longevity and to maintain its vibrant look, we recommend dry cleaning. With a comfortable fit for UK sizes 8-14, this kimono jacket is truly one-of-a-kind.
